Imix Americas, a developer of DR systems, has appointed Rick Sbordone to the position of CEO, with responsibility for its operations in North America and Latin America.

The company said Sbordone’s appointment will enable Imix to focus on recent merger of Imix with medical radiology systems and sub-systems provider, Arcoma.

Previously, Sbordone has held senior executive and global business development positions at companies such as Philips Healthcare, Imaging Dynamics Company, Swissray International and, most recently, Edge Medical Devices.
