IMPAC Medical Systems Inc. has recently renewed its sponsorship of the ASRT Education and Research Foundation's Health Care Industry Advisory Council, a group whose mission is to link leading industry manufacturers and suppliers with radiologic technologists and radiation therapists, IMPAC said.

HCIAC members hold yearly meetings which are devoted to establishing links between imaging technology with technologists. Created in 1999, the Council includes leaders in the imaging industry focused on outstanding patient care and who work together to help the Foundation to advance the profession for technologists, IMPAC said.
