Imaging Dynamics Company has appointed Swapan Kakumanu CGA as chief financial officer. Prior to this appointment, Karim Teja had been acting CFO on an interim basis following his transition from CFO to Chief Operating Officer. Before coming to IDC, Kakumanu served as a controller, corporate secretary and CFO for public and private companies in the information technology and energy services sectors. As CFO, Mr. Kakumanu is overseeing financial controls and the company's ongoing program of process enhancement.
SNM (Society of Nuclear Medicine) is sponsoring Reimbursement Roadshows aimed at addressing issues regarding proper coding, coverage and payments for nuclear medicine procedures and products--in light of changes made to the Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) set by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The roadshows will be held through January and February in several major cities.
