InSite One has completed a system validation and integration testing project in collaboration with Siemens Medical Solutions confirming that Siemens’ syngo imaging PACS has interoperability with InDex services ranging from online DICOM archiving to off-site copies of the long-term storage with disaster recovery.

The Wallingford, Conn.-based InSite One said the testing was completed in preparation for final installation at the University Medical Center (UMC) in Tucson, Ariz., an existing InSite One client, and plans to implement RIS and PACS solutions from Siemens. At UMC, two separate PACS will share a common InDex OnLine archive and a common RIS, according to the company.
