Addressing the need for disaster recovery for hospitals and imaging clinics, InSiteOne introduces InDex Recovery.
The off-site, secure storage system is designed to ensure data integrity and business continuity in the event of an on-site disaster while helping facilities meet their individual Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPPA) compliance initiatives.
Utilizing its architecture to transmit DICOM data to the storage facility via a VPN (virtual private network), images are stored to digital DVD at one of the company's data centers during the term of the agreement for the legal storage lifetime of the image.
