Intelerad detailed the most recently added functionality for both its IntelePACS and workstations at SIIM 2007 in Providence, R.I., last week. IntelePACS, the company’s scalable enterprise-level system, now includes a DICOM site license to allow users to query another PACS or any other external DICOM source using InteleViewer Enterprise, the native IntelePACS viewer.
 
Also new in InteleViewer is spine labeling with 3D coordinates, so labels can be seen in any other series at the corresponding position; mask subtraction for digital subtraction angiography (DSA), permitting the visualization of blood vessels; and integration with the dictation tool Powerscribe, allowing a user to launch Powerscribe directly from the IntelePACS Reporting Worklist.
