Konica helps Connecticut ortho center go digital
The Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center in Trumbull, Conn., has selected Konica Minolta Medical Imaging's upright Regius 370 DR and Nano CR solutions to convert from analog to digital imaging.

The Regius 370 DR is installed at the main office, with two Nano CRs in separate procedure rooms; three satellite offices each have a Nano CR, according to the Wayne, N.J.-based Konica. The purchase was made in conjunction with a PACS from GE Healthcare.

Selecting the Regius 370 DR allowed the center to retrofit an existing x-ray table and generator, and gain the throughput capabilities of an upright DR, the company said. Plus, the use of a single control station for the Regius 370 DR and Nano CR reduces the number of steps.
