L-3 files suit against Analogic
Analogic Corp. this week received notice that L-3 Communications Corp. has filed suit against it in the State of Delaware alleging breach of contract.

Terms of the lawsuit were not disclosed, but Analog notes that for the fiscal year ending July 31, 2003, Analogic's total sales to L-3 totaled $200 million, which represented 4 percent of Analogic's total revenues of $471.5 million. For the third quarter FY04 ending April 30, Analogic's total sales to L-3 totaled $18.3 million, which represented 7 percent of Analogic's total revenues of $262.5 million.

At this time, Analogic says it cannot determine what impact this litigation will have on future revenues from L-3.

Analogic has supplied its EXACT explosives-detection CT system to L-3, which has used the scanner as part of its eXaminer 3DX 6000 explosives detection system, which it sells to airports.
