Lucky 13th year for Cleveland Clinic cardiac center
The Cleveland Clinic Heart Center has earned the number one position for the thirteenth consecutive year atop the “America’s Best Hospital” survey conducted by U.S. News & World Report.

The survey placed Cleveland Clinic as one of the best U.S. hospitals overall, ranking the facility as fourth in the country. The clinic ranked in all 16 specialties surveyed by the magazine. Twelve of its specialties were listed among the top ten in the U.S; while all of its specialties placed in the nation's top 20.

The survey, conducted by RTI International, of Research Triangle Park, N.C, evaluated 5,462 hospitals with 173 scoring high enough in measures of quality, including mortality and patient volume, to be ranked in at least one specialty for the 2007 list.
