Medipattern reported unaudited financial results for the second quarter and six-months, which ended Dec. 31, 2007.

For the quarter, the company saw revenues reach $214,000 U.S. (CAD $216,000) compared to revenues of $76,000 U.S. (CAD $77,000) in the same quarter of fiscal 2007.

The Toronto-based Medipattern booked a higher net loss for the second quarter of $851,000 U.S. (CAD $861,000) compared to $593,000 U.S. (CAD $600,000) for the same period in the previous year.

Operating expenses in the second quarter of fiscal 2008 totaled $1.07 million U.S. (CAD $1.08 million) versus $669,000 U.S. (CAD $677,000) in the same quarter last year, which Medipattern attributes to additional investment in research and development, and sales and marketing to support its ultrasound product launch.
