Medipattern Q2 revenues, losses climb

The Toronto-based Medipattern booked a higher net loss for the second quarter of $851,000 U.S. (CAD $861,000) compared to $593,000 U.S. (CAD $600,000) for the same period in the previous year.
Operating expenses in the second quarter of fiscal 2008 totaled $1.07 million U.S. (CAD $1.08 million) versus $669,000 U.S. (CAD $677,000) in the same quarter last year, which Medipattern attributes to additional investment in research and development, and sales and marketing to support its ultrasound product launch.
