Medison to launch updated 3D/4D ultrasound
Medison, a provider of 3D/4D ultrasound systems, plans to globally launch its new Accuvix V20 model in the second half of this year.

VolumeOS, the fundamental operating system of Accuvix V20, is designated a hardware-software structure optimized for 3D/4D ultrasound diagnoses, helping practitioners who are used to 3D/4D diagnoses minimize redundant time, as well as allows those who have relatively little experience to use its functions easily and quickly, according to the Seoul, South Korea-based company.

Medison said its ergonomic design includes a large 10.4 LCD intuitive touch panel and an articulated arm.

The product is to be first showcased at the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetric and Gynecology 2008 in Chicago in August, which is when the Accuvix V20 will be commercially launched in the market.
