MedQuist said that current President Frank Lavelle, and Linda Reino, the company’s chief operating officer, will resign to pursue other opportunities. Hoffmann, who has served as CEO for nearly three years, will take over the responsibilities of president. Mark Ivie, the company’s chief technology officer, and Michael Clark, senior vice president of operations, will share the duties of chief operating officer.

Sighting streamline efforts and operational performance enhancement goals, the company said it has no current plans to fill either position.
