MedQuist introduces mobile dictation platform
MedQuist has launched its PhysAssist IQ Web, a mobile platform for physician dictation and transcription viewing.
According to the Mount Laurel, N.J.-based company, the PhysAssist IQ Web, powered by IQMax, a provider of mobile detection solutions, puts the physician's rounds list, schedule and patient clinical information in their hand, allowing them to document each encounter at the point of care by using multiple wireless devices.
As physicians dictate, PhysAssist automatically and securely uploads the voice to the enterprise platform to complete the document creation workflow. Once the file is speech recognized and edited, the transcribed results are available for viewing at the mobile device or PC, according to MedQuist.
