MEDRAD unveils new wireless network for MR patient care products
MEDRAD displayed its Certo MR Wireless Network at RSNA 2006 in Chicago. Certo gives patient care professionals the flexibility and freedom to use MEDRAD patient care products anywhere within the range of the network without interfering with the MR imaging signal, the company said.

Certo is designed to free clinicians to provide setup and monitoring of patients in space away from the MR suite, which can lead to more efficient use of space and higher throughput. Patients can be moved easily in and out of the scan room without transitions or long cables, especially helpful when transitioning patients from different modalities, the company said.

The Veris MR Monitor is the first MEDRAD product compatible with the Certo MR Wireless Network. Clinicians will be able to monitor patients confidently with the reliable communication provided by Veris running on the Certo network.
