Mercury Computer reports losses in Q2
Mercury Computer Systems reported a GAAP net loss of $6.1 million, compared to a loss of $1 million in the year-ago quarter, as part of its 2008 second quarter results, which ended Dec. 31, 2007.

The Chelmsford, Mass.-based company also said its non-GAAP net income was $800,000 compared to $200,000 in the prior year quarter.

The second quarter revenues were $52.6 million, up seven percent from $57.9 million in the previous year quarter, according to Mercury.

The company reported second quarter GAAP operating losses of $5.8 million. The GAAP operating losses include $5.6 million in charges, consisting of $3.6 million in stock-based compensation costs, $1.8 million in amortization of acquired intangible assets, and $200,000 in restructuring costs, Mercury said.
