Merge sees downturn in revenues for Q3, nine months
Merge Healthcare has posted its financial results for the third quarter and nine month period, which ended Sept. 30, 2007.
For the third quarter, Merge said that revenue totaled $14.1 million compared to $13.9 million in the third quarter ended Sept. 30, 2006.
The net loss for the third quarter of 2007 totaled $141.6 million, compared to a net loss of $11.2 million, in the third quarter of 2006, according to the Milwaukee-based company.
For the nine months, Merge reported that revenue totaled $44 million compared to $61.5 million in the nine months ended Sept. 30, 2006, a decrease of 28 percent.
The net loss for the first nine months of 2007 totaled $162 million, compared to a net loss of $227.5 million, for the first nine months of 2006, the company said.
For the third quarter, Merge said that revenue totaled $14.1 million compared to $13.9 million in the third quarter ended Sept. 30, 2006.
