CAD Sciences, a developer of computer assisted diagnosis (CAD) software for contrast-enhanced MRI and CT, recently announced the addition of Dr. Jan Mintorovitch as its chief scientific officer (CSO). Prior to taking the position, Mintorovitch occupied several medical affairs and strategic marketing-related positions at Berlex Laboratories of Wayne, NJ and at its parent company, Schering AG based in Berlin, Germany. Prior to his commercial career, Mintorovitch spent ten years in academic research, first as a senior scientist at the University of California in San Francisco and later as an assistant professor in Radiology at the University of California in Los Angeles.
