Misys Healthcare Systems has received 27 more orders for its Misys EMR electronic medical records technology.
Misys EMR is designed to expedite record keeping processes and enable physicians to retrieve and input patient data anywhere, anytime, from a PC, handheld or wireless device. The modularly designed product provides electronic capabilities for routine tasks related to clinical data -- such as transcription, imaging, orders management, messaging and prescription writing -- as well as a wireless point-of-care solution for physicians in the examination room.
Seventeen of the healthcare practices that chose Misys EMR are current Misys practice management clients. The remaining 10 practices also added Misys Tiger Windows-based practice management system that allows them to manage the administrative needs of their practice more effectively.
