Misys Healthcare Systems yesterday announced the release of Misys Data Warehouse 4.0, for clinicians to gain enterprise-wide data analysis of information stored in an Oracle-supported database. The latest version offers 80 different enhancements to optimize analysis of information supplied from the Misys computerized patient record, the company said.
   
The system is built to aid clinicians in making strategic operational decisions for each specific business unit by analyzing items such as the number of procedures, success rates, and similarities and differences in patient records.
   
The product enhancements are focused on data extraction; reporting upgrades; operations, data validation, as well as date conversions and system backup improvements; and database management.
