Mitsubishi adds new fast color digital printer
Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America introduced its new CP-30DW digital color printer at RSNA 2006 in Chicago. The fast CP-30DW dye sublimation printer features a 423dpi head resolution for sharp images, paramount in medical analysis.

The CP-30DW features an internal paper catch, and the prints emerge from a wide, illuminated paper tray specifically designed for use in dimly lit operating and examination rooms. The small light targets the print for easy pick up, without impacting the surrounding area and a convenient display position makes viewing and operation of the LED screen simple.

The CP-30DW also includes Mitsubishi Adaptive thermal-head Management technology. The MAM dye-sublimation processing engine provides a wider dynamic range and 16-bit processing, resulting in high quality 423 DPI prints.

In addition, the printer offers ‘S’ and ‘L’ print sizes (100x94mm and 100x148mm respectively) and prints in less than 17 seconds for ‘S’ prints and under 27 seconds for ‘L’ prints.
