Motion releases 'paperback' size mini tablet PC
Motion Computing this week rolled out what the company calls an 'Ultra-Mobile Slate Tablet PC' which has a screen size several inches smaller than most standard tablet computers. The new LS800 Tablet PC measures just under 9 inches long, nearly 7 inches wide, is less than an inch in thickness. It weighs about 2.2 pounds.

According the Motion, users have been requesting a smaller, even more portable tablet device for some time now. Only a handful of companies sell the smaller tablets.

Features of the Tablet include an Intel Pentium M processor, 256 MB RAM, security features, Bluetooth, 802.11 a, b and g wireless technologies. It also features the Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC operating system.
