MxSecure names country manager
Medical transcription service provider MxSecure has named Evelyn Abat to the newly created position of country manager. Abat, who will be part of the Scottsdale, Ariz.-based company’s operation team, will be responsible for managing MxSecure’s offshore operations in the Philippines.

Abat brings with her seven years experience in building and managing two of the Philippines' most reputable business process outsourcing (BPO) companies, leading their medical and healthcare document management services. She served as founding president of the Medical Transcription Industry Association of the Philippines from its inception in 2003 through 2006 and as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Business Processing Association of the Philippines for the year 2006-2007.

She will report to Arlene Dicks, who oversees MxSecure's U.S.-based medical transcription workforce as director of operations.
