Merge Technologies Inc. on Tuesday announced it has received a written notification from the NASDAQ granting the company continued listing within the common stock on National Market. This extension comes with the requirement that Merge file its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended last December, all required restatements, and its Form 10-Q for Q1 2006 by July 7, 2006.

In April, Merge made an appeal for an extension to the end of June to regain NASDAQ compliance. This followed an initial written notification from NASDAQ relating to Merge’s failure to timely file documents relating to its financial performance with the organization, which placed the company’s continued listing in doubt.
