NEC Display Solutions of America demonstrated at HIMSS07 several of its displays within the booths of two of its sister companies, including reinforced large screen monitors.

Also on showcased were the company’s NEC Multeos LCD Series, a new line of multi-function monitors (MFMs) designed for Web and broadcast content convergence. Designed for home media/theater, digital signage and AV markets, Multeos offers professional-grade, high-quality components, network capable connectivity and an unparalleled feature set to create a new, unparalleled user experience.

In addition to incorporating professional-grade components that deliver better image quality and performance over the life of the product, the NEC Multeos line includes a host of PC and AV inputs as well as the ability to be configured with a state-of-the-art ATSC HD tuner. Expanding its use beyond home media/theater applications, the Multeos line also incorporates technology designed specifically for digital signage and broadcast applications where displaying crystal clear text and graphics is essential.

Looking ahead, the company said that it plans to announce further details regarding its NEC 5 MP grayscale diagnostic display at SIIM this year, with an expected product release in July.
