Network Appliance is using SCAR to highlight its recently launched FAS3000 series, a modular enterprise storage system. According to NetApp, the FAS3000 series delivers high-end enterprise storage and data management value with midrange affordability. The enterprise-ready SATA storage options provide data availability equal to Fibre channel storage. NetApp FAS series systems provide integrated block-and file-level data access, allowing concurrent operation in FC SAN, IP SAN (iSCSI), NFS, and CIFS environments.
