Netherlands cancer research center purchases Kodak's digital information products
Het Nederlands Kanker Instituut-Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Ziekenhuis (NKL-AVL) has chosen Eastman Kodak Co. to support its transition to a digital environment.

The cancer research institute in the Netherlands has purchased Kodak's synchronized PACS/RIS, which includes the Kodak DirectView PACS System 5 and Kodak Radiology Information System (RIS) 2010.

The hospital will access the digital medical imaging and information system through six diagnostic workstations and more than 100 web-based terminals to link all functions associated with its radiology and nuclear medicine departments.

NKL-AVL conducts more than 60,000 patient imaging examinations every year.
