Kodak displayed its new KODAK DIRECTVIEW DR 9500 digital radiography system at RSNA 2006 last week in Chicago. The system features a design that allows it to move around the patient to facilitate patient positioning and enhance technologist convenience and productivity. This design, along with automated exam settings and other features, improves the speed of each exam while minimizing the need for patient movement. The KODAK DR 9500 system is scheduled to be available worldwide in the second quarter of 2007.
