New products: peerVue unveils beta qaVue
peerVue announced the beta kickoff of qaVue, its software built to enable radiology departments, reading groups and imaging centers to exceed the increased 2007 accreditation requirements from the ACR and JCAHO for Radiology Peer Review and 2007 National Patient Safety Goals for measuring, assessing and recording actions taken around critical test results. The Web-based software can integrate to any vendor’s PACS workstation through standard HL7 and DICOM methods for capturing QI activities including radiologist peer review, technologist performance feedback and over-read management (for emergency department, resident even night-hawk discrepancy reporting). Custom “QI Spaces” are supported by qaVue to adapt to QI workflow thereby simplifying the required QI activities for radiologists, support staff and department administrators.  Online dashboards and reports provide visibility by displaying QI Metrics from any PC and in real-time.
