NightHawk Radiology offers one source, one solution
NightHawk Radiology showcased its full range of products during RSNA 2007 scientific assembly and annual meeting, including 24-hour coverage for 3D reconstruction and business services, which were new additions to the teleradiology provider’s product line.
According to NightHawk, more than 2 million cardiac procedures are performed every year, including nuclear medicine cardiac stress studies and invasive diagnostic coronary angiograms. In response, the company decided to offer 24-hour coverage for 3D reconstruction services and professional interpretations for coronary CT angiographies, in the form of either preliminary or final reads.
“NightHawk's highly-trained 3D technologists bring their imaging and cardiac CT experience to all our customers, complementing the development of their in-house cardiac CT programs,” said Scott Giordanella, director of marketing, NightHawk Radiology. With this offering “we are enabling our partners/customers to start up the CCTA program at their sites where there was no program before, to add a new stream of revenue and offer a new procedure which can improve patient care,” he said.
NightHawk also showcased its new offering of business services, which, according to Giordanella, gives customers one source for their practice needs. “The professional services, technical services and now business services continue to give them the opportunity to improve their lifestyle as well as their balance sheet,” he said.
