Nightingale inks four U.S. EMR contracts
Healthcare application service provider (ASP) Nightingale Informatix said it has signed contracts to provide electronic medical record (EMR) systems to four U.S.-based healthcare practices. Under the terms of the agreements, the Markham, Ontario-based Nightingale has sold an aggregate of seven licenses of its EMR software applications to the four facilities, and will also provide associated support, training and implementation services.

The new EMR contracts are for Altoona Urologic in Altoona, Penn.; Minneapolis Orthopedics, Ltd. in Minneapolis; Middlesex Medical Care PC in Middlesex, N.J.; and First Care Medical Center in Columbia, S.C. All four implementations are expected to be completed during the current quarter, according to Nightingale.
