North American Scientific reports Q3 losses for continuing operations; revenues up
North American Scientific (NAS) released its third quarter financial results today, reporting a net loss from continuing operations and a revenue gain.

For the nine-month period, the company reported a loss from continuing operations of $3.0 million or $0.10 per share, compared to a net loss from continuing operations of $2.5 million or $0.10 per share in the same quarter last year. Also, a loss from continuing operations of $7.4 million or $0.25 per share, compared to a loss from continuing operations of $6.62 million or $0.34 per share in the same period last year.

Net loss, including discontinuing operations for Q3 was $17.1 million or $0.58 per share, compared to a net loss of $11.0 million or $0.57 per share in the same period in the previous year.

Revenues for Q3 were $11.14 million, up from $9.25 million in the year-ago period.
