NovaRad signed an agreement with Orthocrat to distribute its TraumaCad preoperative planning software bundled with NovaPACS to orthopedic clinics throughout the United States.

The bundled product will be marketed as OrthoPACS.

Designed specifically for orthopedic surgeons, the Orthocrat TraumaCad/NovaPACS product integrates Ortho tools with a NovaPACS workstation. In addition, the software offers procedure simulation capabilities for fracture reduction, osteotomy and trauma.

NovaRad recently completed its first installation of OrthoPACS at Orthopaedic Trauma and Reconstructive Associates in Peabody, Mass.
