Ashe Memorial Hospital in Jefferson, N.C., has selected NovaRad's NovaPACS for its imaging department.

The rural, not-for-profit hospital said it selected NovaPACS because it provides fast image loads and access to studies for remote reading. An additional factor in the hospital's selection was the real time, off-site emergency backup of images and data that is included at no additional cost, according to Paul Shumway, vice president of the American Fork, Utah-based company.
