Nucletron is scheduled to release its new IMRT (intensity modulated radiation therapy) planning system called the Oncentra Optimizer in the first quarter of 2005.

Nucletron was on board at the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) meeting in Pittsburgh, Pa, from July 25 - 29, highlighting the IMRT planning system. According to Nucletron, the system provides interactive plan optimization with unprecedented speed. Oncentra Optimizer is the IMRT module within the Oncentra family of software solutions from Nucletron.
