Nucletron releases update for Oncentra Treatment Planning; FDA OKs Simulix Evolution
Nucletron B.V. has announced the clinical release of Oncentra Treatment Planning version 1.3.
Oncentra Treatment Planning is a PC-based planning system that features art image contouring, registration, fusion tools, dose calculation functionality and DICOM connectivity. The latest release offers archiving capabilities to any DICOM Archive supporting DICOM RT objects.
Nucletron also has received FDA 510(k) clearance for Simulix Evolution, an advanced digital technology for radiation treatment planning, simulation and verification that improves the quality of radiation cancer therapy
Simulix is available as a complete system, as well as an upgrade for existing Simulix systems. Simulix Evolution has undergone successful clinical testing in Europe and the United States.
