OrbusNeich has received CE Mark approval for its Sapphire 1.25mm PTCA dilatation catheter.
Slated for immediate roll-out to the interventional cardiology community, Sapphire 1.25mm is a small-diameter balloon catheter designed for the pre-dilatation of tight, calcified chronic total occlusion lesions that require crossability, according the Hong Kong-based company.
OrbusNeich said that Sapphire 1.25mm is the only balloon available in a 5mm length, but it is also available in 8mm, 10mm and 15mm lengths.
