Orthocrat launches new version of TraumaCad
Dec. 7 – Orthocrat launched TraumaCad 2.0 at the 2007 meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in Chicago last week.

TraumaCad 2.0 provides additional resources that facilitate more thorough and accurate planning of foot, spine, hip, pediatric and trauma surgeries. The new version also offers more reporting options, as well as patient positioning.

TraumaCad 2.0 provides specialized templates that simplify planning for the most common types of orthopedic surgery. Upgrades include updated measurement wizards, an advanced user interface, a redesigned template library and semi-automated templating tools.

It also includes multi-language support. Other highlights of TraumaCad 2.0 include 3D MPR, trauma surgery, spinal surgery, total hip replacement, knee replacement, foot and ankle procedures, enhanced pediatric tools and reporting. Future systems could detect anatomy and offer smart identification and guidance, Orthocrat said.
