Orthosoft revenues, losses show Q2 uptick
Image-guided computer-assisted surgical system developer Orthosoft of Montreal posted a double-digit increase in revenues for its fiscal 2007 second quarter (end-June 30); however, the company also saw an increase in its net losses for the period.

Second quarter revenues for 2007 were Canadian $3.66 million ($3.45 million, U.S.), a 16.82 percent increase from the $3.13 million ($2.95 million) in revenues booked for the second quarter of 2006.

Net loss for the period was $1.74 million ($1.64 million), compared with a net loss of $1.16 million ($1.09 million) in the second quarter of fiscal 2006.
