OrthoView produces new software version
Dec. 10 – OrthoView debuted OrthoView 5.0 software at the 93rd scientific assembly and annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in Chicago last month.
OrthoView 5.0 includes a new module for limb deformity planning and “plate contouring” or on-screen plate-bending visualization. The software features a smart tool (or wizard) for Zimmer's new modular Anatomical Shoulder System. The modular Zimmer system enables the shoulder implant to be tailored to each patient's individual anatomy.
The company also demonstrated new client/server software including customized versions for many major PACS vendors, including: GE (Centricity Web); McKesson (Horizon Medical Imaging); Philips (iSite); Agfa (Impax); and Carestream.
