Partnerships: FUJIFLM & ProSolv; GE & Intermountain; UltraRAD & Nightshift Radiology
GE Healthcare said yesterday it has expanded its alliance with Intermountain Healthcare to include the development of standardized terminology, clinical knowledge management technology and clinical process content as part of their multi-year project for the development of an ‘enterprise clinical information system’ built on GE’s Centricity Enterprise system. As part of the new agreement, GE and Intermountain will work together to enhance the Centricity Enterprise by developing and incorporating standardized vocabulary and clinical element models that will help enable the use of clinical data, such as protocols for optimal use of antibiotics, providing clinicians with critical decision support tools at the point of care.

FUJIFLM Medical Systems USA and Problem Solving Concepts (ProSolv), a provider of enterprise-level information management solutions for cardiology, have developed a co-marketing agreement, which will enable the two companies, in the U.S. market, to leverage their respective expertise and product benefits. With software solutions based on industry standard approaches, ProSolv and Fuji can now deliver a tightly integrated cardiology/PACS solution that will enable cardiologists to launch Synapse from within the cardiac application, and radiologists to link directly to ProSolv.

UltraRAD Corp. and Nightshift Radiology have announced a partnership agreement to supply high-quality and on-call radiology services. “NightShift Radiology recognized that UltraRAD’s efficient and effective user-friendly software makes for a very complimentary solution to their existing product,” said Tom Goliash, CEO of UltraRAD. The two companies have been working together over the last 12 months to replace Nightshift’s previous PACS with an UltraRAD solution.
