Pathway's PVD revascularization catheter gets FDA nod
The FDA has granted Pathway Medical Technologies' 510(k) clearance to market Jetstream Navitus, an updated revascularization catheter for the treatment of peripheral vascular disease (PVD).
The Jetstream Navitus is an option for treating calcium blockages and chronic total occlusions in the PVD patient population. The device offers active aspiration, which allows the operator to continually aspirate excised tissue and thrombus while the device is operating, according to Kirkland, Wash.-based company
