Perot pays $89 million for JJWild
Information technology provider Perot Systems reported that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire integrated healthcare delivery solution provider JJWild. The Canton, Mass.-based JJWild is a preferred provider for organizations using the Medical Information Technologies (Meditech) healthcare information system, according to the Plano, Texas-based Perot.

The acquisition of JJWild adds to the capabilities of Perot’s Meditech Solution Center, enabling it to expand and enhance Meditech service offerings to serve a broader range of hospitals, the company said.

Following the completion of the acquisition, Perot said all JJWild associates will join the company. Perot Systems said it expects JJWild to report 2007 revenue between $80 million to $90 million, of which it expects to consolidate approximately $30 million over the remainder of 2007, including $8 million for the third quarter of 2007.
