Philips adds two new languages to SpeechMagic
CHICAGO, Nov. 29—Royal Philips Electronics has launched two new languages—Canadian English and Slovenian—for its healthcare speech recognition technology SpeechMagic, which was announced this week at the 93rd annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA).

In addition to Canadian French, Philips said it now provides a MultiMed ConText for Canadian English to reflect the local language characteristics and documentation requirements. Philips also is expanding its presence in Central and Eastern Europe.

SpeechMagic now supports 25 recognition languages and all languages used for clinical reporting in North and South America.
