According to a 2004 MD Buyline report, Philips Medical Systems' picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) has been ranked No. 1 in customer service and support, and among the top four in applications training, installation/implementation, system reliability, integration, system performance and product flexibility categories.
   
The report evaluated 10 vendor systems based on criteria in three categories: user satisfaction; vendor ranking and vendors, process and winning combinations, Philips said. In each category, Philips ranked among the top four vendors based on feedback obtained from customers who use PACS on a daily basis, Philips said.
