ProVation Medical of Minneapolis, part of Wolters Kluwer Health, said that Alegent Health has selected its ProVation MD software for gastroenterology and pulmonary documentation and coding. The application will be implemented at the healthcare organization’s five locations in Iowa and Nebraska.

ProVation MD software for multi-specialty procedure documentation and coding compliance replaces dictation/transcription and helps streamlines the coding and billing process, according to the company. Alegent Health provides services in eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa with nine acute care hospitals and more than 100 sites that are staffed by more than 1,200 physicians, ProVation said.
