QuadraMed rolls out Enterprise Scheduling 9.0
Healthcare information technology developer QuadraMed of Reston, Va., has launched the latest iteration of its healthcare scheduling application, QuadraMed Enterprise Scheduling (formerly TempusOne) version 9.0.

The application, which integrates with the firm’s healthcare information system (HIS) as well as other legacy applications, features more than two dozen enhancements, according to the company.

For example, external documents can now be linked to a patient medical record and stored in an electronic document management subfolder for retrieval. QuadraMed Enterprise Scheduling 9.0 automatically notifies users when a patient’s record contains linked documents.

Faxed physician orders can be stored automatically and used to schedule appointments. An additional level of security prevents unauthorized users from scheduling or cancelling existing orders, and a new sub-report prints advance beneficiary notice (ABN) status and whether the ABN itself has been printed.

QuadraMed Enterprise Scheduling automatically checks for conflicts at the patient, resource, and physician levels, conducts real-time medical necessity checking, enables physician Web-scheduling, and features call-back reminders for patients.
