Radiology and labs benefiting from CTRM
Vocada’s Veriphy critical test result management (CTRM) solution is now available for both radiology and clinical labs and several facilities have selected the solution. The system automates and verifies the communication of critical test results from reporting clinicians to order clinicians, helping increase staff productivity and enhance patient safety.
The Joint Commission recognizes CTRM as an important advance for achieving the Commission’s National Patient Safety Goals for improving communication among care-givers. “Radiology departments initially led the way in adopting CTRM,” said Thomas White, executive vice president and co-founder of Vocada, Inc. “Now that Veriphy Lab is available, as well, hospitals are opting for Veriphy for radiology and for lab.”
Hospitals that recently have selected Veriphy as their CTRM solution for both radiology and labs include: St. Louis University Hospital; Morristown Hospital (N.J.); Newton-Wellesley Hospital (Mass.); and University Hospitals of Cleveland.
Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Hood, Texas, has become the first military hospital to implement CTRM, choosing Veriphy Radiology as its CTRM solution. More than 130 hospitals nationwide have adopted Veriphy for CTRM.
