RadNet acquires California imaging centers
Diagnostic imaging center owner and management provider RadNet reported that it has acquired three multimodality imaging centers in Victorville, Calif., for $3.3 million plus the assumption of approximately $1.2 million of debt.

The centers, previously owned by Valley Imaging Center, will substantially increase RadNet’s presence in a market where, prior to the acquisition, the Los Angeles-based firm had a single-modality MRI location which it acquired as part of its acquisition of Radiologix.

The acquired centers offer a combination of MRI, CT, x-ray, mammography, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound. The physician who has provided the interpretive radiology services to these three locations has joined Beverly Radiology Medical Group, the professional radiology group affiliated with RadNet in California, according to the company.
