The U.S. FDA has granted a second clearance to Rcadia Medical Imaging, a Haifa, Israel-based developer of computer-aided detection software, for its COR Analyzer family of products, which assists in triaging patients for coronary artery disease.

Rcadia said its COR Analyzer uses image processing algorithms to identify coronary artery disease.

The new approval includes segmentation of the coronary tree with no human intervention and automatic detection of pathologies in the main coronary arteries.
