Reading Services Have an Eye for Detail
 
Digital radiology reading services have grown out of teleradiology offerings, allowing the opportunity for expert, overnight and flexible outsourced reads to and from anywhere on the globe. Vendors at RSNA 2008 are showcasing their emergent and non-emergent final and preliminary reads at any time, to any size imaging center or hospital, while tackling more subspecialty interpretation services such as breast MR interpretation or echocardiogram reads.

3DR Laboratories (Booth 1206) is demonstrating its two main product lines at RSNA: outsourced 3D post-processing and the 3DR thin-server capacity on a 24/7 basis. It also offers an online technologist training product, 3DR Academy.

Aris Teleradiology (Booth 1505) is highlighting its Breast MRI reading service that allows for a radiologist to learn from fellowship-trained radiologists who not only have subspecialty training in breast MRI, but also are available for consultative reads. 

Brit Systems (Booth 3223) is demonstrating new enhancements to its Roentgen Works remote reading service and showcasing the use of AJAX and Skype embedded in Roentgen Works. 

Imaging On Call (IOC) (Booth 1824) is featuring its expanded its teleradiology service area, now serving clients in Colorado, Massachusetts, Ohio and Tennessee.

Online Radiology Medical Group (Booth 3661) is featuring new reading services, including remote reading of echocardiography studies and functional MRI consulting and reading services.
ProScan Imaging (Booth 2603) is showcasing its services for primary reads, over-reads, vacation coverage, and peer review services. ProScan also offers technical support, continued medical education, joint venture opportunities and a partner for clinical research.

Virtual Radiologic (Booth 8324) is introducing the vRad Enterprise Connect productivity solution and highlighting its expanding subspecialty radiology services, including emergent and non-emergent preliminary and final interpretations.
